Green Chili Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients
    •    10–12 jalapeños
    •    8 oz cream cheese (softened)
    •    1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack
    •    ¼ cup Green Chili Jam (add more if you want it stronger)
    •    ¼ cup bacon bits (up to ½ cup if you want it loaded)
    •    ½ tsp garlic powder
    •    ½ tsp onion powder
    •    Black pepper
    •    Optional: green onions for garnish

1) Prep the jalapeños
    1.    Heat oven to 400°F
    2.    Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise
    3.    Scoop out seeds with a spoon

2) Mix the filling

In a bowl mix:
    •    Cream cheese
    •    Shredded cheese
    •    Green Chili Jam
    •    Bacon bits
    •    Garlic powder + onion powder
    •    Black pepper

Mix until smooth and thick.

3) Fill them
    •    Spoon filling into each jalapeño half
    •    Slightly “overfill” so it browns nice

4) Bake
    •    Place on a baking sheet
    •    Bake 15–18 minutes at 400°F
